How to get to Chiavari

BY CAR
The Chiavari motorway exit is on the A12 highway, in the section between Genoa (link for A7 and A21 and La Spezia (link for A15).

BY PLANE
Chiavari is about 40 km from Genoa’s Cristoforo Colombo airport which can be reached by a direct train connection from the Genoa Piazza Principe or Genoa Brignole railway stations. There is a shuttle bus line VOLABUS from the airport to Genoa Principe and Genoa Brignole railway stations.

Blue Flag beach

In the 2017 bathing season the Municipality of Chiavari was awarded the “Blue Flag”, an eco-label for beaches and tourist moorings given by the Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE), a non-governmental environmental organisation.
